About me

Hi! I'm Katya :)
I'm exploring life through walking, I'm curious about what it means to feel truly alive. I'm excited to find it out! Every day I discover a new answer, I find new meaning to what I observe and create a new way of perceiving my reality. Walking is just a tool for me to become aware of myself in each moment. I use all the tools that are available to me in the moment for my exciting journey: - physical steps (walks around big cities) - virtual steps (Google maps, open world games) - imaginary walks (it's like making steps for my mind, investigating journey mentally, modeling something) - travels (especially, by trains!). I like movement, excitement, an overflowing mind full of ideas! But at the same time I like calmness, coziness, relaxation, comfort. No dramas, no emotional exhaustion, just true aliveness and gentle but very strong excitement and curiosity all the way through my journey!

When I walk...
everything in my head becomes so much more clearWhen I walk, I often like to think about myself and define who I am in that exact moment of my life. While I am walking everything else that usually gets my attention is muted for a while and I can define and notice something new about myself and my life. My life changes, but I always find time for walks and that is something that never changes. And it made me think if the way I feel about myself on my walks is different in a different times of my life? Yes, it is different. But how I feel about myself during the walk is much more easier to change than how I feel about myself when I back to "reality".
Walks give me freedom of being myself. And when I am fully myself of course I feel much better, more confident, inspired. Walks are like meditations, helping to go back to balance with mental, spiritual and physical parts of my life. I think walks are like sleep in a way that when you wake up, it's a brand-new day and a very good chance to start everything in a new way. Walks work the same for me. I go back to "reality" feeling excited about new ideas that I came up with on my walk and that I want to use in life now.
